QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS WITH
Nicole Webb

What is your role at Camden County College?
I am a Professional Advisor in the Academic Advisement Office.
When did you begin your role?
I began in July of 2024 .
What has been your favorite part of working here so far?
My favorite part of working at CCC is hearing the unique experiences of our diverse population of students. I also really love participating in the numerous events organized by Student Life and Engagement!
What was your dream job as a child, and how does it compare to your current role?
My dream job as a child was to become an artist! Although that is not even close to “Professional Advisor,” I still embrace my artistic inclinations and try to bring beauty into every aspect of my life. My artistic abilities are most often recognized when I decorate my office for the changing seasons.
Which of your professional accomplishments are you most proud of?
I am most proud of graduating from Rutgers University with Summa Cum Laude honors. I graduated as a first-generation student, so receiving the highest level of Latin honors was an accomplishment I never even expected to reach. Like many students, there were points in my academic journey during which I thought I would never complete my degree program, so having that extra recognition on commencement day was the icing on the cake for me!
What’s your go-to way to unwind and recharge after a busy week?
My favorite way to unwind after a busy week is simply spending time with my rescue dog, Ash! Anybody who knows me knows that Ash holds a very special place in my heart. I adopted him during my sophomore year of high school, so he has been there with me for the highs and lows of young adulthood. He truly is my best pal. Whether we are going for a lengthy walk or snuggled up on the couch, hanging with Ash is a sure way to relieve stress after a long week.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
Please forgive my non-answer answer: If I could travel anywhere in the world, I would choose everywhere! I have grown to love traveling and experiencing the different cultures and geographical characteristics that are native to all different places. I intend on traveling to many different places around the globe, although if I had to choose one, I would probably choose Patagonia. The photographs that I have seen from Patagonia are so breathtaking, I cannot imagine experiencing the wonders of this region in person.
